To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Concorde aeroplane, Bremont Watches have released their eight historical limited edition timepiece, the Bremont Supersonic watch. The British Airways Concorde plane took passengers eleven miles up into the air and flew twice as fast as the speed of sound, completing more supersonic flying hours than the entire world‰۪s air forces combined. To honour this magnificent jet, Bremont have created a trio of stunning Bremont Supersonic limited edition watches each incorporating metal from the G-BOAB Concorde, known as Alpha Bravo, the third Concorde to join the British Airways fleet in 1974. Aluminium taken from the plane has been moulded into a decorative ring that can be seen through the exhibition case back.
This Bremont Supersonic White Gold Limited Edition watch is a simple but stunning timepiece that has been deliberately styled to the 1970‰۪s, the era when the G-BOAB Concorde first took to the skies. The 100 piece limited edition white gold watch measures to 42mm in diameter and boasts a striking silver sunray dial decorated with nickel hands coated with Superluminova and nickel applied indexes. Within the heart of this Bremont Supersonic watch is the BE-11M manual winding movement which equips the timepiece with hour and minutes function, a small seconds dial and rounded date window at 6 o clock and a 8 day power reserve indicator at 12 o clock. The unique bespoke packaging for this Bremont Supersonic White Gold watch is just as beautiful as the watch itself, allowing you to house the limited edition into the head of the Concorde plane.
